Adhesive-Edged PTFE Fiberglass Tapes
PTFE zone tapes feature a PTFE fiberglass work zone with adhesive on the sides, designed for protecting heating elements in packaging, bagging and sealing machines. Available in Type A (adhesive both sides) and Type C (grate-type, one-sided adhesive, foldable).
PTFE zone tapes consist of a glass fibre fabric fully impregnated with PTFE, creating a non-stick work zone. Adhesive strips run along one or both edges, so the tape can be mounted precisely on heat sealer bars, grate heaters and impulse sealing elements.
Type A has adhesive on both sides of the PTFE glass fabric and should be applied on one plane without folding. Type C is a grate-type glass fibre tape with adhesive on one side and may be folded around the heating board.
