PTFE-Coated Woven Fiberglass Cloth Tapes
PTFE-coated fiberglass tapes combine the non-stick and chemical resistance of PTFE with the superior mechanical strength and dimensional stability of woven fiberglass. Ideal for heavy-duty heat sealing, conveyor systems and industrial release applications.
PTFE fiberglass tapes are manufactured by coating woven fiberglass cloth with PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) and applying a high-temperature adhesive. The fiberglass reinforcement provides exceptional dimensional stability with less than 1% elongation.
The combination of PTFE surface properties with fiberglass mechanical strength creates a tape that outperforms pure PTFE tape in applications requiring durability, tear resistance and long service life under demanding conditions.
