Product Properties

PTFE fiberglass tapes are manufactured by coating woven fiberglass cloth with PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) and applying a high-temperature adhesive. The fiberglass reinforcement provides exceptional dimensional stability with less than 1% elongation.

The combination of PTFE surface properties with fiberglass mechanical strength creates a tape that outperforms pure PTFE tape in applications requiring durability, tear resistance and long service life under demanding conditions.

  • Fiberglass reinforcement with less than 1% elongation
  • Continuous operating temperature -73°C to +260°C
  • Non-stick PTFE surface — prevents material adhesion
  • Superior tensile strength and tear resistance vs. pure PTFE tape
  • FDA compliant (21 CFR 177.1150) for food contact
