About PA12 Cast

Cast Polyamide 12 (PA12C) is a semi-crystalline engineering plastic produced by casting, combining the toughness of nylon with very low moisture absorption. Compared to PA6 and PA66, PA12 keeps its dimensional stability and mechanical properties almost unchanged across humidity levels, which is critical for precision components operating in varying environments. It also has excellent impact and fatigue resistance at low temperatures, good chemical resistance to fuels and oils, and machines cleanly into large rollers, wheels and gears.
