Cast Polyamide 6 (PA6C / PA6-G) is produced by casting monomer directly into moulds, yielding large, stress-free blocks and tubes with higher crystallinity than extruded grades. This gives PA6 Cast greater stiffness, better dimensional stability and improved wear resistance. It is the preferred material for heavy-duty gears, large rollers and wear parts where extruded PA6 would be undersized or too flexible. Cast nylon machines cleanly and is available in stock shapes up to very large diameters, making it ideal for one-off mechanical components.
