About PEEK

Polyether ether ketone (PEEK) is a high-performance semi-crystalline thermoplastic with outstanding mechanical strength, excellent chemical resistance and continuous service temperatures up to 250 °C. It resists hydrolysis in hot water and steam, performs well under high mechanical loads and maintains its properties in aggressive chemicals. PEEK is widely used in the aerospace, semiconductor, medical and oil and gas industries, where it often replaces metals in weight-critical and high-temperature components. It is machinable to very tight tolerances and available in natural, glass-filled and carbon-filled grades.
